This was a complete kitchen removal and rebuild as part of an upgrade to an existing condominium owned and rented as part of Copper Mountain Vacation Rentals in Colorado.
Detailed, intricate work involving centerpieces in the home, such as staircases, provide a rewarding challenge for my business. This challenge is a cornerstone in my skillset. Pictured above are completed or in progress staircase centerpieces including a staircase in a Colorado condominium and two residential in the southeastern Wisconsin area.
This fun and unusual project is a small, side garden and garbage storage addition attached to the house. I enjoy unusual requests that allow my creative problem solving skills.
This whole house project in Port Washington had many phases:
a. An addition to the first floor of the home with an eastward, greater view of the lake.
b. Modernizing the kitchen.
c. Moving the stairs from the east end to the west end of the house.
d. Interior work involved several additional footings and two major structural beams to stabilize the aging home.
e. In place aging was accommodated by adding a full bathroom downstairs and bedroom downstairs.
An egress window is, as defined by business code, an escape window large enough for exit in case of emergency. They are commonly paired with a large enough opening for easy maneuver and an egress well, surrounding the window. This is one of my favorite projects.
Working with fireplaces requires balancing materials, proportions, and artistic expressions.
The opportunity to take on a cottage project allows me to combine my architectural degree with my whole house renovation background. Pictured here are samples of an ongoing project.
